This building is unique as it consists of both regular hotel rooms and privately owned condos like ours..
Please proceed to the front desk with your valid ID to check in (make sure to send us the full names of all guests in advance so we can register you at the hotel first). Also make sure the names on ID you present to the front desk is the same name you provided for registration.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 3:00 PM. Early check-in is usually not available, but if we finish preparing the condo ahead of schedule, we will notify you if it is possible.
5. Luggage Storage
If you need to store your luggage, please contact the lobby staff. Their office is located in the entrance hall. see picture. You can store your luggage at eh front bell for free before check in or after check out time.
6. Additional Services
You will enjoy exclusive services at Ala Moana Hotel:
- Upon your arrival, the front desk will inform you that you need to pay a $50 check-in fee and a $30 daily fee (your credit card will also be linked to the TV and other charging services in the unit, and any purchases made will be automatically deducted from your credit card).
- You will receive an Amenity Card(it is also your room key card), which grants you unlimited access to the resort's recreation deck, swimming pool, beach towels, gym, and sauna, providing you with a comprehensive leisure experience for your island vacation.

Gym & Sauna Facility Guidelines (Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu)
1. Location
The gym and sauna are both located on the 3rd floor, with the sauna situated within the fitness center.
2. Access Eligibility
Complimentary access is exclusive to registered hotel guests (included in the daily resort fee). A valid room key or check-in confirmation is required for entry.
3. Operating Hours
- Gym: 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)
- Sauna: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
4. Usage Requirements & Safety Notes
- Stay hydrated before and after using the sauna; first-time users are advised to limit each session to no more than 10 minutes.
- After exercise, cool down properly (e.g., rest for 5-10 minutes, drink warm water) before entering the sauna.
- Pregnant guests, those with heart conditions, or other health-related concerns are prohibited from using the sauna.
- Strictly follow the equipment operating instructions. Immediately report any equipment malfunctions (e.g., failure to start) or safety hazards (e.g., slippery floors, exposed wires).
- Maintain a quiet and clean environment: do not speak loudly or litter arbitrarily, and jointly uphold the usage order.

Ala Moana Honolulu by Mantra is located at 410 Atkinson Drive in Honolulu.
Regarding your stay, please note the following important information:
1. Unique Feature of the Building
A prominent feature of this building is that it includes both regular hotel rooms and private apartments like ours.
2. Check-in Details
- Required Document: Please bring your valid identification document to the front desk for check-in.
- Pre-registration Requirement: Prior to check-in, please be sure to send us the name as shown on your identification document. We need to register your name with the hotel in advance.
- Standard Check-in Time: Check-in is available anytime after 3:00 PM.
- 24-Hour Front Desk Service: The hotel front desk is staffed 24 hours a day to assist you with check-in.
3. Early Check-in Policy
- Early check-in can only be confirmed on the day of your arrival. If available, a fee of $20 per hour will be charged. Pleae consult with us at least 24 hours before your check-in. Early check-in is not guarantted.
- If we are unable to confirm early check-in for you on the day, please store your luggage at the complimentary luggage storage on the first floor. Feel free tot take a walk to the beach close by (Ala Moana Regional park, only 10 minutes walking distance) There is also a lounge area and a Starbucks on the first floor. Please refer to the attached images for specific details.

Late check-out is not available. Feel free to store your luggage in front Desk Bell if y ou need late check-out.
If your flight is much later than 11:00 AM, you can store your luggage at the lobby front desk.
When checking out, please return your key card to the front desk—you can simply drop it off there.
For your convenience, here’s a quick summary of the check-out process:
1. Before leaving, please ensure your transportation is ready and arranged (Uber, shuttle, or rental car).
2. Please remove all food from the refrigerator.
3. Please take all your belongings with you. If you brought it, make sure to take it with you when you leave.
4. Please inform us if any items in the condo are broken or damaged. We understand accidents happen, but we kindly ask for your notification.
5. If you have time to send me a quick message when you check out, I’d really appreciate it. This will help me alert our cleaning team for the next guests.

About towels and supplies
Warm reminder:
Although this room is located in the hotel, but it is a serviced apartment.
One time towels and supplies are provided, and the hotel front desk is not responsible for arranging additional towels and room cleaning services. Additional cleaning and services will requrie additioanl cleaning fees.
If you need additional towels, the most economical way is:
1. Go to a nearby supermarket to buy them. (Walmart)
2. If you need us to provide towels, we can only replace them by ordering new cleaning services. And you need to pay an additional cleaning fee 125 $, which is higher than the cost of buying new towels. However, you will get a full services.
If you choose this method, please inform us, and we will arrange the relevant cleaning service promptly
3. You can use your room card to go to the laundry room on the 6th floor, which has dryers, and many long-term tenants find this a great money saver.

Late check out
1. No Guaranty for any late check-out request.
For a late check-out, we first need to confirm if there is an incoming reservation for the same day.
2. Second, we need to adjust the cleaning schedule of our housekeeping team accordingly.
3. If you request a late check-out, we will inform you of its availability on the check-out day.
4. Please note that a late check-out is subject to an additional hourly fee, with 20 US dollars per hour.
5. For any late check-out request, guests have to inform us at least 24 hours before check-out time. It will provide us time to coordinate this. Any last minutes notice or notice with 24 hours cannot guaranteed late check-out.
About laundry
You have two options
1. The hotel can provide laundry service. Please consult the hotel for specific charges. The daily cleaning has to be approved as soon as you confirm the reservation. This is more expensive.
2. Go to the laundry room to wash by yourself, which is more affordable.
There is a laundry room on the sixth floor, which provides dry cleaning services.
Detergent needs to be purchased with coins, as shown in the picture.

About the Swimming Pool at Ala Moana Hotel
1. Floor and Access Method: Located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, it is an outdoor swimming pool with an exclusive sunbathing deck. To enter the pool area, you need to bring your room card and swipe it for access.
2. Towels: The hotel provides beach towels for in-house guests. A deposit is required when collecting the towels, and the full deposit will be refunded upon return of the towels with no additional charges.
3. Inquiry: You can first consult the on-site staff at the swimming pool for any questions.

When you arrive at the Ala Moana hotel.
1. Upon checking into the Ala Moana Hotel, you need to pay at the front desk by credit card: a $50 check-in fee plus $30 per group per day (not per person). Payments are made directly to the hotel; our team does not collect on behalf.
2. Mandatory fees include unlimited access to the resort’s recreation deck, pool, beach towels, gym, and sauna. The recreation deck, outdoor activity area, and fitness center are all located on the 3rd floor.

Transportation Option Recommendations
- Budget-Friendly Choice: Take buses such as Route 19 or 20. You can reach the area near the hotel directly for $3, which is suitable for single travelers or couples with light luggage, only needing to accept a journey of about 40-46 minutes. Please note: Bus will refuse your luggage or big item. Do not bring your luggage to buses.
- Efficient and Convenient Choice: Taxis or ride-hailing services are preferred. The journey takes only 11-20 minutes, and you can take the vehicle quickly after exiting the airport, making it suitable for travelers in a hurry, those with elderly people or children.
- Group/Large Luggage Choice: Airport shuttle buses are very suitable. They can accommodate group travel and a large amount of luggage. Booking in advance can also avoid waiting, with higher cost-effectiveness than multiple taxis. Please google airport shuttle in Honolulu. Robert Hawaiii has a good transportation shuttle service.
- Free Exploration Choice: Renting a car is a great option. After picking up the car, you can go directly to the hotel, and then flexibly arrange trips around Honolulu later, which is suitable for groups planning in-depth travel with a large number of companions.

2. Journey and Parking The distance from the airport to the hotel is about 13.2 kilometers, with a journey time of 11-20 minutes and fuel cost of about $2-$3. The hotel does not offer free parking; please refer to the hotel's parking information for details.

1. Self-Parking: $40 per day (rates are subject to change without notice). Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no assigned spots. Turn right after entering the main entrance, and the parking lot is located in the basement (an open covered area; high-profile vehicles or large trucks may not be accommodated).
2. Valet Parking: $45(Rates are subject to change without notice) per day. You can park your car at the entrance and have it parked by the staff. The parking fee must be paid at the front desk.
3. Access Voucher: Guests using self-parking need to collect a parking garage access voucher at the front desk for entry and exit.
Other Nearby Parking Options
1. Ala Moana Center Parking: Connected to the hotel via the second-floor ramp, $28 - $40 per day (prices vary slightly by time/date). Payment can be made by scanning the QR code on the parking lot signs.
2. Free Parking:
- Temporary Parking at the Mall: Available for non-overnight parking only, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. There are a total of 3,185 parking spaces, including 1 accessible parking space. The vehicle height limit is 2.36 meters (7 feet 9 inches).
